First I would like to thank you for all the kind words and encouragement I have
received over the last few months. I did not plan to stay out of the bike business
and it seems I wont have to. Starting Monday May 3rd I will be taking over the the
day to day operations at the Akron Bike Center located at 110 N. Main Street in Akron (Across from Luigi's)
 
This arrangement will allow me to offer the same level of service you learned to expect at Care-Free Bicycles, running a shop with an emphasis on service while still offering a selection of bicycles, rentals and access to Car Gears selection of bike racks and vehicle accessories. Repairs will still be available same day by appointment or can be dropped off Monday through Friday from 10-6 or Saturday 10-4 and will be completed within 24-48 hours (adding a day for special orders). I will, of course, honor all warranties on any product or service I provided at Care-Free Bicycles, and will provide free pick-up and drop off services to any of my customers in the Stow-Hudson area.
